Working with musicMagpie
The Brief:
musicMagpie is a multi-award-winning recommerce business. They buy and sell CDs, DVDs, Blu-rays, games, vinyl, mobile phones and other tech products, with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. With that in mind, musicMagpie was keen to incorporate sustainable packaging into its long-term vision.
The Solution:
musicMagpie’s main objective was to source a fully sustainable plastic-free solution for mailbox deliveries that would also stop products from shifting while in freight.
As a result of their brief, Enviroflute created a bespoke-sized padded bag that would fit through letter boxes for small deliveries, thus distinguishing the 25mm Royal Mail tolerance between a large letter and a small parcel. This solution reduced postage costs as the items didn’t slip within the packaging [which used to cause the products to go up a letter size with the UK post] and cost significantly more overall for deliveries. The bespoke design also housed the products more snugly, helping keep them safer during transit.

targets.
